During the year, we share Visits and Special Interest Mornings with our sister group, The Arts Society Sudbury. Members receive the THE ARTS SOCIETY REVIEW magazine, published quarterly, and are kept updated by emails and mail.

A Member can bring a guest on three occasions during the lecture programme year. Please contact the Membership Secretary to book a space - Members may also be able to bring a guest to Special Interest Mornings and Visits subject to space being available. These events are subject to an additional charge for both Members and their guests.

LECTURES Lectures are held on the third Tuesday of each month except July, August and December at 2.00 pm. Attendees gather from 1.45 pm. Lectures usually finish by 3.15 when tea and biscuits are served. Exceptionally, the AGM starts at 1.45 pm before our June lecture.

SPECIAL INTEREST MORNINGS (SIMs) We normally have two SIMs per year. The morning is split into two or three sessions, each lasting about one hour. There is ample opportunity to ask questions and SIMs are normally great fun as well as being informative.

VISITS During the programme year we arrange visits to places of interest  such as country houses, exhibitions, galleries and museums.
